Famed Artist +Designer Yvette Crocker is forever moved to story-tell through womanhood experiences.
On Sunday, April 2nd, more than 100 fashion forward Washingtonians and global travelers descended upon Yvette Crockers Annual Shopping Soiree at the exclusive MGM National Harbor Hotel & Casino. Literally everyone who is anyone was at the event. Attendees had the opportunity to network, shop from her exclusive collections and connect with local and international changemakers.

An intimate affair, guests shopped coveted one-of-a-kind pieces such as kimonos, embellished eyeglasses, jewelry, and much more, while enjoying savory bites and the signature cocktail of the night.
If you missed the event, here’s a Video Recap curated by Kevin Turrentine @official_ktmedia:
Meet the Designer: Yvette Crocker began her fashion career as an artist. The self-taught painter, who grew up in Washington, quit her 9-to-5 job two decades ago to take on the world of fine art. She opened her gallery in the early 2000’s independently selling her paintings, which previously graced the pages of exclusive media outlets.
What makes the brand stand out? People who love bold colors and patterns need to stick together, which is just one of the many reasons I adore artist/designer Yvette Crocker. Crocker’s bold prints and patterns are an easy way to elevate outfits and homes and make you stand out from the crowd. They’re also a super-fun way to complete an outfit or adorn your home. The result is always unexpectedly cool. Aside from our forever first lady Michelle Obama, rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and fashion designer Kanye West, Tabitha Brown, Ava Marie DuVernay, American Rapper T.I., singer-songwriter Kem, Vernon Davis of the San Francisco 49ers, singer/songwriter Sevyn Streeter and more are fans.
Where fashion is concerned, to remain relevant in this changed environment, brands such as Crockers’ should set a North Star to guide their aspirations for customer experience, with specific goals across three key actions: reimagining the brand-consumer connection; allowing brands to explore new ideas, products and locations faster and cheaper, and helping brands identify new patterns in consumer behavior.

Thanks, Yvette Crocker for delivering innovative shopping experiences that forge deeper bonds with new and existing consumers while elevating your brand’s perception.
Keep soaring, inspiring and creating Black Magic!
