Skinergy Beauty’s Priscilla Jiminian offers solutions for complexion perfection.
For Priscilla Jiminian, founder, and CEO of Skinergy Beauty, addressing personal insecurities with dark spots, razor scars and acne marks that just wouldn’t go away was at the heart of starting her skincare company.
“I personally used various skin products for dark spots and hyperpigmentation, which didn’t do much of anything to hydrate, brighten, or correct,” says Jiminian, who admits to having spent a small fortune to find solutions for these skincare concerns.
Her “ah-ha” moment came during a trip to her parents’ country, the Dominican Republic. In 2017, she connected with a 20-year beauty industry veteran who was experienced in skincare solutions. And with her newfound knowledge, her Dark Spot Correcting Cream was born. Jiminian, a former Manhattan real estate agent, began selling the Dark Spot Correcting Cream, formulated in the Dominican Republic, to her Instagram followers. To this day, the Dark Spot Correcting Cream is a best-seller, having recently won a POPSUGAR beauty award.
In January 2019, Jiminian officially launched Skinergy Beauty and introduced a second product: Come Correct Serum, another Best-in-Beauty award winner. Working in tandem with skincare experts, estheticians, and chemists, Jiminian has expanded Skinergy Beauty to a 10-product skincare line focused on offering potent and powerful ingredients found in nature.
“The goal is to be inclusive of all skin types,” shares the savvy businesswoman. “I desire greatly to help others achieve their skin goals by formulating products that cater to many conditions and issues, such as dullness, uneven skin tone, hyperpigmentation, and dehydrated and sensitized skin.”
Nurturing her company’s growth has not been an easy journey for the Dominican-American beauty executive. But she is proudly invested in her career in the skincare industry, having recently signed a lease for her business headquarters on Madison Avenue, in the heart of New York City. And Skinergy Beauty’s future? It’s brighter than ever. Look for the introduction of Skinergy Beauty’s Brightening Eye Serum, set for release in early 2022.
