On February 26th, Serayah introduced her new single “Love or Die” at an intimate event with friends, influencers, and industry insiders at Atlanta’s Sacred Creative Agency. An Afrobeats-laced track featuring Village Boy Prince, “Love or Die,” is ready made for the radio and club.
Sacred Creative Agency, formerly Billboard Studios, offered a unique environment for this gathering, with its platinum plaques, positive affirmations, and sacred crystals placed throughout the venue.
How It All Began
A California native, at age 5 Serayah began dreaming of life as an entertainer, and her mother became her manager. She created opportunities including taking on an internship position, to allow her daughter’s dreams to come to fruition. Serayah’s big break came when she landed the role of Tiana Brown on Fox’s Empire. Empire was one of the most popular shows on the network and ran from 2015-2020.
Shortly after Empire launched, Serayah’s popularity continued to grow following a feature in Taylor Swift’s video for “Bad Blood. Serayah released “her first EP, “Addicted,” in 2018. She also garnered lead roles in other videos including Chris Brown’s “Undecided” and “Gotta Move On” by Diddy featuring Bryson Tiller.
Then to Now
Currently, Serayah can be seen on the Starz series BMF and on Hulu’s Wu-Tang: An American Saga. She also has a starring role in the new Tubi movie “Best Friend.”
During her single release party at Sacred Creative Agency, Serayah was surrounded by good vibes and adoring friends. After thanking all those in attendance for their support, she performed “Love or Die” live, and then hit the dance floor with everyone ready to have a good time.
