In spotlighting and chronicling amazing minority entrepreneurs that are trailblazing in their respective industries and have built their brands from idea to completion through strategic marketing Upscale Magazine wants to introduce the owners of Midtown Collective, noted and published Photographer and Creative Director Leslie Andrews and Event and Experience Director and Co-Founder Demond Robinson.
This dynamic-duo conceptualized a needed business in an ever growing market, event rental space for short and long-term projects. Midtown Collective provides a blank canvas for photoshoots, events, and TV/Film production. Since 2018 it’s been a haven for creatives building relationships based off integrity and respect and graced by notable celebrities and influencers such as (but not limited to): Kandi Burruss/Recording Artist; Tameka “Tiny”
Harris/Television Personality; Monica/Recording Artist; SWV/Recording Artist and such tv/film projects such as Netflix; HGTV; FX Network. “We take pride in our work so everything done is executed with precision and love” states Leslie, Co-Founder. It is the purpose of Midtown Collective to support the ever growing community of creatives, entrepreneurs and minds alike. Their venues are separated by a short 8 minute commute, in Midtown Atlanta’s bustling Upper Westside. The district is conveniently located minutes to Downtown, Midtown, Buckhead shopping district, and a short 25 minute commute to the airport. Both industrial designed spaces are filled with natural light and display tons of character.
Leslie, a noted and published photographer for over 20 years, started with the vision of a creative space for other artists to call home. Demond’s detailed background in sales and finance for over 20 years together synergistically created Midtown Collective. Demond and Leslie are the proud owners of two elite studios in the heart of Metro-Atlanta. They opened their first location in 2018 with its current location in West Midtown and their second location on Antone Street in the fall of 2023.
