Marvel’s “Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur” Is Back For Season 2
Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur is an Upscale fun family animated series to enjoy. The Disney Channel series tells the story of 13-year-old super genius Lunella who by accident brings a Tyrannosaurus Rex Devil Dinosaur to the streets of the lower east side of New York. The two build a friendship and bond together to fight crime and help those in need.
Saturday, January 27th, in Atlanta, GA Disney Channel celebrated the season 2 premiere at the legendary Cascade Skating Rink with Moon Girl herself (actor Diamond White) and the cast to celebrate with fans of all ages. The event was filled with prizes, a professional skate troup performance, a hairstylist and a sticker tattoo artist who gave all the kids a special Moon Girl look. It was a family fun experience enjoyed by all.
In season two, Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur are in their element as superheroes. Moon Girl’s superhero acts intertwine more with her personal life. She must decide if the cost of keeping her identity a secret is worth the toll it takes on her family. In an exclusive clip to kick off the new season, legendary talk show host and icon Arsenio Hall makes an appearance as “Vernell Lewis” a professional over eccentric skater who used to be Pop’s (Gary Anthony Williams) best friend but now sworn skate enemy.
The series also stars Diamond White as Lunella Lafayette (aka Moon Girl), Fred Tatasciore as Devil Dinosaur, Libe Barer as Casey, Alfre Woodard as Mimi, Sasheer Zamata as Adria, Jermaine Fowler as James Jr. and executive producer, Laurence Fishburne as The Beyonder.
Season two of the Emmy Award-nominated Disney branded television series Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur is set to debut on Friday, February 2 on Disney Channel and Disney XD with two episodes and the next day on Disney+.
