The 18th Annual Fine Art + Fashion extravaganza, presented in collaboration with the iconic Neiman Marcus, captivated a sold-out crowd at the Atlanta History Center on March 27th. From 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, attendees were enveloped in a mesmerizing fusion of art and fashion. This illustrious affair not only celebrated luminaries in Visual Arts and Fashion Design but also shone a spotlight on the noble cause of nurturing arts education among the budding talents of Atlanta Public School youth.

Fine Art + Fashion, presented by NBAF and Neiman Marcus, was a celebration of both rising stars and established icons in the world of design, highlighting a dedication to nurturing creativity and artistic brilliance. The event attracted a diverse array of fashionable attendees, including esteemed members of the NBASF committee, philanthropists, and fashion luminaries like Derek J, Marryam Moma, and Dr. Courtney A. Hammonds, Upscale Magazine’s Fashion Editor. Notable figures such as the esteemed Mayor of Atlanta, Andre Dickens, and Neiman Marcus General Manager and Vice President, Jamie Tankersley, were also in attendance, adding to the event’s illustrious atmosphere.

Presented by NBAF and Neiman Marcus, Fine Art + Fashion showcased both emerging talents and established designers, embodying a commitment to fostering creativity and excellence in the arts. The event’s proceeds supported NBAF’s in-school arts education initiatives and the Fashion Forward Student Design Program, aimed at empowering African American students pursuing fashion design degrees.

Additionally, the inaugural Radcliffe Bailey Award for Excellence in Visual Art was launched, honoring luminaries such as James Keith, the visionary behind the luxury brand Keith James, and the esteemed Award-Winning Photographer, Marilyn Nance.

The evening buzzed with excitement and inspiration as attendees immersed themselves in a world where creativity knows no bounds. From avant-garde fashion to thought-provoking artworks, Fine Art + Fashion celebrated the power of artistic expression to transcend boundaries and ignite change.
