Co-CEO of The Knowledge House
Jerelyn Rodriguez is on a mission. Her goal? To address education and work opportunity disparities in low-income communities.
“I want to close that gap by providing opportunities that lead directly to not only career development but entrepreneurship as well,” says Rodriguez, co-CEO of The Knowledge House, a social change organization dedicated to educating and empowering students from low-income communities with technology and workplace skills through mentorship, fellowships and workshops. Rodriguez, a South Bronx native, launched the organization in 2014 and aims to transform the tech industry by creating a “pipeline of technologists, entrepreneurs and digital leaders, who will uplift their communities out of poverty.”
A graduate of Columbia University and named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Education list, Rodriguez, to date, has served hundreds of young people interested in STEM job placement and training. –J.H.
