Ellen and Lana Ector, the mother/daughter duo that co-own the private fitness studio Gymnetics Fitness, and created the widely popular workout DVDs Black Girls Workout Too: Total Body Revolution and Black Girls Workout 2: Snatch It Back, have assisted women in transforming their bodies and in learning how to live a healthier lifestyle.
Ellen or “Vitamin Ellen,” as she is known on social media, is a fitness expert and competitive runner that offers over 20 years of nutrition and training experience to their clients. She works hard at raising public awareness as part of an approach to combat obesity within the community.
As a certified personal trainer and nutritionist, Lana, dubbed the “Fitness Vixen,” creates customized fitness routines and meal plans tailored to the goals and personal needs of their clients. The powerhouse pair have trained celebrities such as Kandi Burruss, LaLa Anthony and Niecy Nash, and have a proven track record of delivering results.
