Upscale Magazine has an internship available to work as a website/print designer.

Responsibilities will include ….

- Assisting in the maintenance of Upscale’s online website
- Designing special print projects
- Generating online newsletters, surveys and forms

This assignment will task the student’s project management and design skills.

ICandidate must have experience creating html pages as well as, developing tables and working with programs that utilize cascading style sheets. Candidate must have excellent print design skills. Should have experience creating basic online forms.

Skills Required

- Experience working with Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark, Dreamweaver, Flash and similar design/animation programs
- Must have drive for results, a sense of urgency, and the ability to complete projects without immediate supervision
- Must be adept at working independently (and at times) with a moderate level of ambiguity as indicative in any promotional/advertising environment

- Position allows participants to telecommute
- Must be a current or recent design student
- This unpaid internship opportunity for course credit

This position offers a great opportunity to learn the entry-level skills necessary to succeed within the advertising and magazine industry. Specific job assignment will range in length from 10 –12 weeks.
