As we celebrate Bronner Brothers’ 65th year in business all year long, I want to thank everybody who helped our February Atlanta Hair Show break all records. I also want to congratulate our new 2012 barber battle champion of the world, David “dl” Hiland from Nashville, Tenn. David won $20,000 cash by healing the blind, fighting Goliath and defeating the devil with the help of Jesus, while giving everyone, including Jesus, a haircut (all part of his elaborately themed presentation).
Florida offers almost everything you can imagine from shopping to fine dining. Couple that with warm weather and you have the perfect vacation getaway. The Sunshine State represents variety, and focusing on other indulgences—like year-round adventure with a generous portion of relaxation on the side —can lead to a treasure trove of less-explored recreational opportunities.
Tubman African American Museum, Macon Georgia
Nestled in the heart of Georgia in historic downtown Macon is the largest museum in the Southeast devoted to African American art, history, and culture. Founded 30 years ago, the Tubman African American Museum (named in honor of Harriet Tubman) features rich collections of local and regional history, West African, contemporary African American, and folk and visionary art, and both permanent and changing exhibits, including “Harriet Tubman: The Moses of her People,” “Unbound Spirit: Folk Art from the Tubman Museum Collection,” “From the Minds of African Americans: Black Inventors,” “Georgia Artists,” and “From Africa to America”—the Museum’s signature mural that traces the history of African Americans in the United States from slavery to the election of the nation’s first black president.
Georgia's African-American journey
FROM THE EARLY coastal slave settlements to the Civil Rights Movement, Georgia is home to many landmark sites and places that honor our African-American history, culture and heritage. You can spend an afternoon, or an entire vacation, tracing the footsteps of the heroes and everyday people whose stories have been preserved for current and future generations.
As we celebrate Black History Month, our family business, Bronner Bros., celebrates 65 years of making history. Our Atlanta hair show has become the largest and most famous show in the world. Our BB brand of hair products has become one of the most loved brands with number one in its category—products like Pump It Up Spritz, Super Gro and Smooth Sheen. Our African Royale brand has produced several number one products like Hot 6 oil and Braid Spray. Our new natural brands, Tropical Roots and 4 Naturals, are now the fastest-growing natural products.

|Information Collected by UPSCALE Online|
|Our technical team collects two types of information about users: personal information (such as name and e-mail address) and aggregate information (such as information about how many users log on to our sites on a daily basis).|
|Personal information is collected when users voluntarily register for membership services. These services include receiving electronic newsletters, using community and communication services, answering surveys, purchasing items, and entering contests and other promotional opportunities provided on our sites. We may receive personal usage and demographic information from our third-party partners, and we also collect e-mail addresses from users who send us support mail or request technical or other help. This information enables us to improve our site.|
|One method of collecting aggregate information about your activities online (such as the pages you access most frequently or the search terms you enter), and information volunteered by you (such as survey or registration information), is by tracking Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you surf the Web. The computers that deliver the Web pages to you automatically identify your computer by its IP address. When you request a page from one of our sites, our servers log your IP address.
Our sites record IP addresses for the purposes of system administration and to provide aggregate data to advertisers about the volume of use on our sites. We also create aggregate reports on user demographics and traffic patterns for advertisers and partners. This allows these parties to advertise more effectively, and allows you to receive advertisements that are most relevant to your personal interests. An advertiser will not know that you clicked its advertisement unless you voluntarily and explicitly permit us to provide such information.
|Use of Information Collected by UPSCALE Online|
|UPSCALE Online uses the personal information we collect to improve the content of our site; to customize the content and/or layout of our site for each individual user; and to notify users about updates to our site or promotional offers or opportunities that we believe will be of interest.|
|Sharing Data with Online Partners and Affiliates|
|UPSCALE Online may share the personal and aggregate information we collect with our affiliates and other sites operated by or for UPSCALE Communications. In addition, UPSCALE Online receives personal usage and demographic information from third parties and uses this information to improve our products and services.|
|Membership Services, Service Providers, and Registered Users|
|When you register for member services, contests or promotions UPSCALE Online may share your registration information with content or service providers. For instance, the personal information that you provide to our guest book, promotions, surveys, and gaming services is shared with the companies that provide those services in order to develop increasingly effective campaigns, promotions and other services on our site. You do not have to register your personal information with our sites, but if you choose not to, certain services may not be available to you. You may remove your personal information from our database by accessing our "contact us" page on the bottom of our home page site and typing "remove from list" in the subject heading.|
|Publication of Personal Information|
|Occasionally, we may post the name of a user (for example, a contest winner) on our site. We will notify you of this possibility when you provide your information or, if possible, will notify you when the information is posted.
UPSCALE Online uses a third-party advertising company to serve ads when you visit our sites. This company may use information (not including your name, address, e-mail address or telephone number) about your visits to our and other Web sites in order to provide advertisements on this site and other sites about goods and services of interest to you. In addition, we share Web site usage information about visitors to our sites with such company for the purpose of managing and targeting advertisements on our site.
|Our site offers a free, electronic newsletter as a service to our users. You will only receive a newsletter or announcement. We will not divulge your membership in a newsletter mailing list to any third parties, including advertisers or partners.
If you have registered through our online registration system and have been subscribed to UPSCALE Online’s e-mail newsletter but do not want to continue receiving such e-mail newsletter(s), please send an email to us by clicking on "contact us" on the site’s home page; then type "remove from list" in the subject heading.
|Shopping services allow you to search our site or merchant sites and make online purchases. These purchases may require credit card and personal contact information. UPSCALE Online’s shopping services store your information and send it to the merchant automatically when you make your purchase, using encryption technology to protect your information during this transfer.
We strive to make your shopping experience as worry-free as possible. We use secure server software (SSL), the industry standard for ensuring the security of your electronic commerce transactions. SSL encrypts all of your personal information transmitted over the Internet, including your credit card number and name and address. This technology is designed to protect your information by rendering it useless, should it ever be intercepted in transit. We will continue to provide the highest level of security by implementing improved technologies as they become available.
